The helmet features a weathered appearance similar to the original helmet and features a push-button pull-down rangefinder with illuminated HUD. Pre-orders for the headset are underway on the Entertainment Earth website. Released in October 2022, the headset retails for $ 124.99, but the website promises free shipping in the United States.
The character of Bo-Katan Kryze was created by Star Wars screenwriter Dave Filoni for the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars and was voiced by and her look designed after Katee Sackhoff. The character is a Mandalorian member of the ultra-aggressive sect known as the Death Watch who intends to return Mandalore to his old warlike ways. The character quickly became a fan favorite and made several other appearances in The clone wars before also appearing in Star Wars: Rebels.
Bo-Katan’s character arc in the animated shows brought her away from the distant sister of the leader of Mandalore to an ally of the rebels who fought to free Mandalore from the Galactic Empire. At the end of his arc in both animated series, Bo-Katan was awarded the Black Saber from Sabine Wren and was appointed the new leader of Mandalore. Sometimes between Rebels and The Mandalorian, Mandalore was purged by the Empire, and Bo-Katan lost the Black Saber to Moff Gideon.
When it was announced that Bo-Katan would appear in The Mandalorian, many fans hoped they would continue his story with the Dark Saber, and they did. With the precise cast of Katee Sackhoff reprising her role as the live-action version of Bo-Katan, it was a seamless transition from the animated role to a live-action version of the same character, and fans were excited about it. the possibilities that seeing Bo-Katan in the Mandalorian would bring.
And now, with this new replica of props, some of those same fans now have an easier option to cosplay as one of their favorite characters.
