Sweaty Betty x Halle Berry
We love a good old fashioned celebrity athleisure collaboration. A few years ago we passed out Jessica Biel’s capsule collection for Gaiam who had everything from coveralls to capris. Then we stocked up on all things metallic and millennial pink from Demi Lovato’s line for Fabletics. Now we have another celebrity collaboration on our radar: Sweaty Betty x Re / Spin by Halle Berry.

The British sportswear brand just announced a partnership with Oscar winner and its wellness brand, Re / Spin, and you bet we’re already chatting about the entire collection. Inspired by boxing and Japanese jiu-jitsu, the limited-edition collaboration features 22 technical and lifestyle pieces, including sleek sports bras, playful jumpsuits and classic midi dresses.
Berry launched Re / Spin last year as a platform for women’s health and wellness. Now, the brand’s new athleisure line combines Re / Spin’s core philosophy with Sweaty Betty’s mission to empower women through fitness.
âSweaty Betty was the first brand that came to my mind – they know how to create technical sportswear that not only looks great, but also really performs,â Berry said, in a statement. Release. “I wore the Power Leggings so for years it was an amazing experience making my own version, named after one of my most iconic roles: Storm. I worked closely with the Sweaty Betty design team, all on Zoom, to bring my vision for this collection to life. I am so proud of what we have created. It’s really a reflection of my lifestyle and offers pieces that can take you from the studio to the streets. “
“Studio to street” is a great way to put it. The entire collection comes in a modern, minimalist color palette of stormy grays, earthy creams, and deep blacks, making each piece easy to dress up or take down depending on how you’re feeling. It is truly “a harmonious combination of technical performance and expressive feminine style.. ”
Sold, but you don’t know where to start? Below are our top five favorites from the edition, all now available on SweatyBetty.com.
Our 5 favorite pieces from the new Sweaty Betty x Halle Berry collaboration
Leticia Training Shorts – $ 88.00
Hellooo, breathability. Inspired by boxing training shorts, Leticia training shorts are lightweight and durable, making them the perfect bottom for sweaty days at the gym or on the trails. If you’re unsure of the bulk, don’t worry – each pair is lined with an ultralight liner to keep everything in place. And did we mention that there are pockets ?!
Emily Strappy Back Dress – $ 148.00
Although its length is probably not as suitable for the gym as the beloved Outdoor Voices Exercise Dress, this noon is sure to be a summer staple. The fabric is tight so it looks like a chic LBD, not sportswear. But it’s made entirely of stretch nylon that wicks away sweat, so you’re sure to be comfortable all day (or night). Dress it up with sandals or white sneakers and a denim jacket for a cute and casual look.
Frankie Racer Neck Tank Top – $ 64.00
Whether it’s for a spin class, a relaxing yoga class or a drink with friends, this soft jersey tank top can go just about anywhere. Don’t be fooled by its simplicity – the subtle piping on the chest and back gives it the right amount of detail without going overboard. Black is great, but we love the brilliant Lily White who is just in time for Memorial Day.
Ginger Essentials Joggers – $ 8.00
Pandemic or not, we won’t be quitting our love for sweatpants in 2020 – and these cotton sweatpants take comfort to the next level. They have that standard jogging feel with tapered legs with an elastic waistband and matching cuffs. But each pair has a black square logo patch sewn onto the leg that stands out against the cream coloring, adding a bit more oomph to an otherwise minimalist look.
Jinx Power 9 ” Bike Shorts – $ 78.00
There is nothing like a little black bike shorts, and the Jinx Power 9 âbike shorts add a touch to the classic look with an all-steel-gray Sweaty Betty logo print. TBH, I’m not normally a fan of something too logo-heavy, but this design passes for a tribal print, which makes them all the more on-trend. Pair them with an oversized crew for a Princess Diana vibe, or pair it with its assortment Jinx Power Training Tank ($ 78).
