6 students of Hafiz Quran rewarded

Sheeri: Urging Muslims to maintain brotherhood, change their priorities and refrain from creating sects within themselves, noted Islamic scholars urged to follow the Holy Quran and the teachings of Prophet Mohammad SAW in addition to balance their priorities as Muslims around the world face immense challenges in contemporary times.

This was stated by them at a 25th Annual One Day Congregation (Salaana Ijtima) and 21st Dastar Bandi Ceremony of 6 students from Dar-ul-Uloom Qureshia Sheeri who completed the memorization of the Holy Quran while another teacher Muzamil Qayoom Akhoon who wrote Holy Quran in three months.

On this occasion, Hafiz Quran students received the Hafiz E Quran certificates after binding turbon and special prayers for the entire Muslim community.

Prominent scholars from different parts of Kashmir addressed the rally while a large number of people attended. Renowned Islamic scholars who grace the event with their presence include Peer Abdul Hamid Haqani, Mounlan Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Naqeeb, Mohtimim Dar-ul-uloom Qureshia Sheeri Mounlana Tariq Ahmad Mishbahi, Moulana Abdul Rashid Dawoodi, Mufti Qamar-ud- din Owasi, MuftiShakeel Ahmad Sakafi, Moulana Ishaq Ahmad Nizami and other Islamic scholars and speakers.

Speakers on this occasion highlighted the importance of education, building the character of the fellowship; peace and unity among the masses are the pillars of success in the contemporary world.

“People regardless of caste and creed, community and religious beliefs should work together and stand united for the progress and development of society. Also, parents should be duly respected and respected in line with the teaching of Quran and the teaching of Prophet Mohammad SAW,” a speaker said.

Mufti Tariq Mishbahi said young Muslims should familiarize themselves with vocational courses as well as religious studies in Madrassa to get jobs in various service sectors.

He also prayed for world peace and prosperity. Islam is essentially a religion of peace and true Muslims are peace-loving people and murder and atrocities have absolutely no sanction in Islam, and there is no justification in Islam, the noble religion, to take the lives of innocent people.
